Spring Makeover Contest Rules

The Do It Smart - Do It Local Spring Makeover Contest (the contest) is intended to be conducted in Ontario only and shall only be construed and evaluated according to Ontario law.

The contest is open to legal residents of Ontario only. Do not enter this contest if you are not a legal resident of Ontario.

No purchase is necessary.

Participants must be at the age of majority in Ontario or older at the time of entry. Void in whole or in part where prohibited by law. Entry in this contest constitutes acceptance of these contest rules.

This Contest is operated by NaberNet Inc. Employees of NaberNet Inc., The Image Factor, VIP Gifts and Events, their affiliates, subsidiaries, related companies, advertising and promotional agencies and the household members or immediate family of any of the above, are not eligible to participate in the Contest.

In these Contest Rules, "immediate family" means husband, wife, spouse, mother, father, brothers, sisters, sons and daughters, whether or not they reside in the same household.

This Contest is void where prohibited by law. Sponsors shall have the right at any time to require proof of identity and/or eligibility to participate in the Contest. Failure to provide such proof within a reasonable period of time could result in disqualification.

All personal and other information requested by and supplied to Sponsors for the purpose of this Contest must be truthful, complete, accurate and in no way misleading. Sponsors reserve the right to disqualify any entry or entrant in its sole discretion, should any entry or entrant at any stage supply untruthful, incomplete, inaccurate or misleading personal details and/or information. Timetable: The Contest begins at 12:01 AM Eastern Standard Time ("E.S.T") on Wednesday, March 1, 2006 and closes at 11:59 PM. E.S.T. on Sunday, April 30, 2006 (the "Contest Period").

How to Enter: There is no purchase necessary to enter the Contest. Enter by filling out the online entry form at the contest website (link), which requires inclusion of the unique entry code contained on official contest entry forms. These forms are available at participating locations (click here for a list) Submission of the entry form online constitutes an "Entry" in the Contest.

Limit of one (1) Entry per e-mail address. Entries received online shall be deemed to be submitted by the holder of the e-mail account. Multiple Entries by the same person using one or more e-mail accounts shall result in disqualification. All Entries must be submitted no later than the end of the Contest Period. All Entries become the property of the Sponsors and none will be returned. Illegible, incomplete, late or garbled Entries will be disqualified. No Entries will be accepted by any other means.

Entries will be deemed made by the authorized account holder of the e-mail address submitted at the time of entry. "Authorized account holder" is defined as the natural person who is assigned to an email address by an Internet Access provider, on-line service provider, or other organization (e.g., business, educational institution etc.) that is responsible for assigning email addresses for the domain associated with the submitted email address.

No mechanically or electronically reproduced entries will be accepted. All entries must be submitted from a valid email account that may be identified by reverse domain name search.

Potential Winners and potential Finalists may be requested to provide Sponsors with proof of identification and eligibility (address and birth date) and proof that the potential Winner or potential Finalist, as the case may be, is the authorized account holder of the email address associated with the winning entry.

Prizes Grand Prize. There will be one (1) Grand Prize awarded to the Contest winner ("Winner") consisting of : - one (1) day at the Sanctuary Day Spa, including salt water bath, spa manicure, spa pedicure, spa facial, one hour massage, hair wash and blow, make-up application - one (1) eight (8) hour image consultation with Nadia Baboo of the Image Factor including colour analysis, body type analysis, wardrobe audit and personal shopping - five hundred dollars ($500) to be spent shopping with image consultant Nadia Baboo Grand Prize has an approximate retail value of CND $1,500.

Secondary Prizes. There will be 10 secondary prizes awarded.

The Grand Prize and the Secondary Prizes are collectively referred to in these Contest Rules as the "Prizes". Distribution of the Prizes will be arranged with the winners within (10) business days after the Winner or Finalist has been successfully contacted and notified of their Prize and has complied with all Contest Rules and requirements. Should a Winner or Finalist be unable to collect his/her Prize within this time period, the Prize will be forfeited and awarded to an alternate Winner or Finalist, as applicable. d. All Prizes must be accepted as awarded and cannot be transferred, substituted or redeemed for cash. Contest Sponsors reserve the right, in their sole discretion, to substitute any and all of any Prize for another prize of equal or greater value should all or part of the Prize become unavailable for any reason.

Winner Selection. Winners and Finalists shall be selected as follows: On Monday, May 1, 2006 in Vaughan, Ontario at 11:00 AM EST 10 potential Finalists and one potential Winner will be selected by a random draw from all eligible online Entries received. The odds of being selected as a potential Finalist or a potential Winner are dependent upon the number of eligible Entries received. Before being declared a Winner or a Finalist, a potential Winner or potential Finalist, as applicable, will be required to answer, without assistance of any kind, whether mechanical or otherwise, a time-limited mathematical skill-testing question during a pre-arranged telephone call, and to comply with all the Contest Rules
